Ocean Hunter I - Crew
The Ocean Hunter business really is like one big family. Unlike the larger liveaboards who change crews and captains every season, our family-run business gives you the same famous service and faces since 1993. We gather information year after year and are here waiting to share it with you! We are also largely staffed by local, experienced Palauan guides who have grown up on the reefs and act as ambassadors between the visitors and Palauan culture and environment.
|Troy Ngiraikelau - Captain, PADI Divemaster
Born and raised in Palau, Troy has been working at Fish ´n Fins since 1989, becoming a boat captain and dive guide alongside Francis Toribiong. He joined the Ocean Hunter crew in 1998. Favorite fish: sharks. Favorite dive site: Ulong Channel. He's got a great sense of humour and on the boat, he loves watching the stars. Troy has logged around 10,000 dives and is extremely knowledgeable about Palau, it's wildlife and it's diving.
|Richard Eco -PADI Divemaster
Born in Cebu, Philippines, Richard came to Palau in 2002. He is a good-natured young guy always ready to attend to the slightest need that might arise. His task is basically to make sure the ship is prepared for anything, in true Ocean Hunter fashion. And that's exactly what he manages to do.
|Chhetra Bhandari - Cook
Chhetra is a very friendly, always smiling and good-natured cook from Nepal. He joined the team at Fish 'n Fins in 2001 and was transferred to Ocean Hunter I in 2005. You'll love being in his company as he makes you feel home the minute you're onboard.
